| | A Partnership The John Martins have partnered with World Vision; the largest privately funded Christian relief and development organization in the world. In 1997, the family received the "New Artist of the Year" award from World Vision during a special ceremony in Nashville. The John Martins endeavor to raise awareness of and support for the work of World Vision, specifically in the area of child sponsorships. In January 2011, John & Dody received an award from World Vision for having over 7,500 children sponsored through their ministry since 1996.

Child Sponsorship
World Vision's Child Sponsorship Program links poor children in developing countries with individual donors in the U.S. and other developed countries. Each child benefits through direct assistance, as well as improved living conditions for his or her community and family. More than 500,000 children are sponsored by people in the U.S., and more than 2.1 million children are sponsored worldwide.

| Through partnering with various artists, tours and conferences including The John Martins, World Vision has acquired more than 40,000 child sponsorships and introduced World Vision to over 1.5 million people. In 2010, World Vision celebrated their 60th anniversary and is currently active in nearly 100 countries through more than 4,000 projects.
